Course Summary

This one-day course will enable you to fully understand root cause analysis (RCA), recognise its importance, and apply it effectively when meeting BRCGS Standards requirements. It is delivered through workshop-led discussions and practical exercises covering RCA terminology, questioning methods, Five Whys Analysis, cause-and-effect diagramming and the Pareto Principle.


You will be assessed through an assignment-based assessment. You will need to gain a 75% pass mark, with two attempts permitted. A certificate and digital badge are available immediately upon passing; alternative attendance certificates are available upon request.


This course is part of the BRCGS Professional recognition programme.
